In partnership with Starr FM, the airline is offering an opportunity to experience Expo 2020 Dubai
Emirates is showcasing its commitment and support towards the Ghanaian MSME community and has partnered with Star FM in a MSME Challenge to provide a once in a lifetime chance for an entrepreneur to travel to Dubai and explore Expo 2020 Dubai. The Expo 2020 Dubai has 192 countries participating in the event and provides businesses a platform to connect and network with prospects and opportunities to grow their business, build and cultivate new leads, and expand their reach into new markets.
The challenge, which ends on 23rd of November, 2021 will provide a winning business owner a platform to communicate to a wider audience about their business, their achievements and how they have overcome the challenges of the pandemic in Ghana, with an added benefit of an all expense paid trip to Dubai and visit to Expo 2020 Dubai.
Emirates has been a supporter of MSME’s and recognises the vital role the businesses play towards post-pandemic economic recovery. In order to empower MSMEs, the airline introduced an incentive for new businesses that sign up to the Emirates Business Rewards corporate loyalty programme, awarding 10,000 bonus Business Rewards Points, equivalent to an Economy Class return ticket to some destinations in Europe. Additionally, for travel to Dubai during the time of Expo 2020, until 31 March 2022, members will be able to reap the benefits of their trip by earning 25% additional Business Rewards Points on their travel.
Under the theme of “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” SME’s visiting can tap into the rick art, culture and entertainment at country pavilions, get a glimpse of the future through new innovations and technology that will make a difference in the world and become the place where all the great minds come together to find solutions to key challenges in sustainability, mobility and opportunity. With Dubai being open since July, 2020 for leisure and business travellers, corporate travel has accelerated, and small and medium size enterprises have become key drivers of demand with the flexibility to make travel plans quickly as new opportunities emerge.
